Details of Our Charges
The charges listed below apply to any jobs we attend without a prior agreed quotation.
Important: If you need to cancel an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. By booking a service without an agreed quotation, you are agreeing to the information provided below. If you have any questions, contact us on 01274 010405.
Rates
Our Standard Rates
First hour charge (non-urgent work scheduled during normal working hours)
£80 + VAT
This rate applies if the job is non-urgent and can be scheduled at a convenient time, with the work being completed within 7 days.
First hour charge (urgent work within normal working hours)
£120 + VAT
This rate is applied for urgent jobs that must be completed within 48 hours.
First hour charge (urgent work outside normal working hours)
£180 + VAT *
This rate is applied if urgent work is required outside of our normal working hours and must be completed immediately.
After the first hour, our standard hourly rate applies
£59 + VAT
Important
Important Points
• The first hour is chargeable, regardless of whether the job takes 6 minutes or the full 60 minutes.
• Additional time is billed in half-hour increments if work extends beyond the previous half hour by 10 minutes. For example, a total time of 1 hour and 11 minutes (including one-way travel) would be billed as £109.50 + VAT (£80 + £29.50).
• The first hour may be billed even if we are unable to fix the problem during the visit.
• Billing begins when we leave our current location and ends when we leave your property (including one-way travel).
• Payment is required at the end of the visit via BACS or card.
The only time the first-hour charge does not apply is when we attend solely to provide a free quotation for the work.
